A 48-year-old-man was killed in a California car accident that also sent two others to the hospital. Witnesses said that the driver of a Silver Ford Taurus lost control of his car and crashed into the parking lot of USA Towing, hitting a man in the parking lot.
Police say the car hit the pedestrian, who worked for USA Towing, and carried him a short distance. The car also struck several other objects in it’s path. The pedestrian was thrown off of the vehicle and to the ground. Sadly, he suffered major injuries and died at the scene.
The driver of the car was taken to Salinas Valley Memorial Hospital for minor injuries. The identity of the driver was not released as the investigation is still ongoing. There was also boy in the Taurus when it crashed, but he was not injured.
