Authorities say that, on Easter Sunday, Clark became upset when some teen girls began petting one of her pit bull puppies. She says that she told the girls to leave the puppies alone. That is when the trouble allegedly started between her and the teen girls.

Police claim that an argument broke out and the pregnant mom commanded her adult pit bull to attack one of the teens. “I’m not scared of dogs so I just stood there,” victim Lameka Robinson said.

Robinson said the dog tried to lock onto her leg. “And that’s when my cousin threw the beer can at his face and he stopped,” she said. Police said Clark put four-month-old baby in a stroller and shoved a handgun into a diaper bag and began threatening the teens.

Dog Bite Owner Arrested

When police arrived they found the gun still in the diaper bag, and the pit bull still in attack mode. “During the altercation, yes, one of the officers was attacked by the pit bull and actually tore his pants,” said Officer Laura Peck of the Sacramento police.

“I do everything for my kids. I’m 20-years-old with two kids,” said Clark, who also has another on the way.
She claims that she did not order her pit bull on her Del Paso Heights neighbor nor threaten her with a gun. “They could give me a lie detector test. I’m not lying about anything.”

“I’m not a bad mom. I’m not,” Clark said. No one was injured, but Clark lost custody of her baby. “I will kill myself because that’s my life. That’s everything I live for. That’s everything I go to school for. That’s everything to me,” she said. Clark is facing multiple charges, including assault with a deadly weapon. The baby is reportedly being cared for by family members.

Liability for Dog Bite

This is a very unusual situation. If the accusations are correct, the pregnant mom could do time in prison. Fortunately, the teens were not physically injured by the pit bull, but this a traumatic event and the teens’ families would be well-served to contact a Sacramento dog bite attorney. Per California law, the owner is responsible for dog bite attacks.
