This seems to be the years for celebrity car accidents. We have reported on two car accidents by Lindsay Lohan, one by Justin Bieber and Amanda Bynes (who has apparently done it again).
TMZ.com recently reported that a Los Angeles woman filed a police report on Saturday claiming that she was rear-ended in a car accident by actress Amanda Bynes.
The woman, wanting to be known only as ‘Kisa’ stated she was driving her Toyota Corolla on Saturday when she was hit from behind by a young woman driving a black BMW.
Kisa said at first she did not recognize the driver, but after a short conversation she realized that the woman was Amanda Bynes.
Kisa described Bynes as looking like a “hot mess” and seemed extremely nervous when they began talking about exchanging auto insurance information.
The woman claimed Bynes told her that the damage to her Corolla didn’t look that bad, while she attempted to push the Toyota’s bumper back in place.
Bynes, reportedly, didn’t feel the need to involve the insurance companies since neither car was badly damaged. Kisa did say that Bynes’ car had “significant” damage.
Amanda Bynes continued to stall Kisa on exchanging insurance info and quickly got into her BMW and sped off. TMZ.com reports that Kisa filed a police report telling the officer who hit her, with him responding, “Didn’t she just get a DUI?”
As previously reported, Amanda Bynes was arrested on suspicion of DUI back in April, and was accused of two hit and run car accidents on May 5 and May 27.
So far, no comments on the matter have been released by Amanda Bynes reps.
Fortunately for Kisa, Bynes is a well-known person and will not be able to evade her responsibility in this car accident. That said, Kisa would be well-advised to contact an experienced Los Angeles car accident lawyer who can get her the compensation that she deserves to repair her car and cover any physical damages she may have endured.
